We are one of the few offices in town to offer the Invisilign system to our patients. Invisalign is a modern alternative to braces for adults and teens over 12 that uses clear removable trays instead of brackets and wires. You have probably seen the commercials on TV over the last few years showing how they are invisible to the casual observer.

Only a dentist who has taken the extra training and has been certified is allowed to submit cases to Invisalign. Dr Sparks has always provided removable appliances as an alternative to braces, but with this new technology, the results are much more predictable and precise. We are able to treat about 80% of patients who would otherwise need braces.

Invisalign is comfortable because there are no brackets or wires. The computer-fabricated trays are worn 24 hours a day and are removed only to eat, brush, and floss. They are worn for two weeks and then a new set is inserted. After going through a series of 12 to 25 sets of trays, the teeth will reach their final position.

The most common situation we see is crowded and rotated front teeth. To solve the crowding, the arch is widened and some of the teeth are reduced in width with sanding strips. Also, another benefit of Invisalign is that the trays can be used for whitening during treatment.

The cost is less expensive than braces, ranging from $2,500 for six front teeth, to $4,000 for comprehensive treatment of all the teeth. While we do not contract with any financing institutions, we do allow payments for patients with good credit.
